David Tebet
David William Tebet (December 27, 1913 – June 7, 2005) was an American theater publicist, network executive and, early in his career, a press agent for ''Your Show of Shows'' starring Sid Caesar. After the end of ''Your Show of Shows'', Tebet became the vice president of talent relations for the National Broadcasting Company. In his job title, Tebet was responsible for recruiting potential stars to NBC and once getting them there, Tebet then held the responsibility for not only keeping the talent with the network, but also keeping the talent “relatively pleased” with the network during their respective tenures. Tebet was responsible for the recruitment of Johnny Carson to ''The Tonight Show'' in 1962 and keeping him with the network for 30 years. Miller Theater (Philadelphia)
Miller Theater, originally the Sam S. Shubert Theatre and formerly the Merriam Theater, is Philadelphia's most continuous location for touring Broadway show theatre. It is located at 250 South Broad Street within the Avenue of the Arts cultural district of Center City, Philadelphia. The Theatre was built by the Shubert Organization in 1918. ''Who Do You Trust?'' (originally titled ''Do You Trust Your Wife?'' until July 1958) is an American television game show. The show aired from September 30, 1957 to November 15, 1957, at 4:30 pm Eastern on ABC, and from November 18, 1957 to December 27, 1963 at 3:30 pm Eastern. This schedule helped garner a significant number of young viewers coming home from school. (The revised title also outraged English teachers, who preferred "Whom Do You Trust?") The series was initially emceed by Johnny Carson and announced by Bill Nimmo. Bill Todman
William Selden Todman (July 31, 1916 – July 29, 1979) was an American television producer and personality born in New York City. He produced many of television's longest-running shows with business partner Mark Goodson, with whom he created Goodson-Todman Productions. Early life Todman was the son of a Wall Street accountant, Frederick S. Todman, CPA, whose accounting firm was known as Frederick S. Todman & Co. and for many years was located at 111 Broadway, downtown Manhattan. The firm represented some of the United States' biggest companies, including the New York Stock Exchange, American Stock Exchange, Polaroid, Eastman Kodak, and Chase Manhattan Bank. Frederick S. Mark Leo Goodson (January 14, 1915 – December 18, 1992) was an American television producer who specialized in game shows, most frequently with his business partner Bill Todman, with whom he created Goodson-Todman Productions. Jack Harold Paar (May 1, 1918 – January 27, 2004) was an American talk show host, author, radio and television comedian, and film actor. He was the second host of ''The Tonight Show'' from 1957 to 1962.
