David Shinskie
David Michael Shinskie (born May 4, 1984) is an American football quarterback for Boston College. He was BC's starting quarterback for the 2009 season and the beginning of the 2010 season, but then lost the starting spot to Chase Rettig. Early life Shinskie is the son of David and Joann Shinskie, the third-oldest of their four sons. He played football at Mount Carmel Area High School in Kulpmont, Pennsylvania. In his four years at Mount Carmel he threw 400 completions for 6,334 yards. In his junior season Shinskie threw 111 completions for 1,815 yards and 16 touchdowns, while in his senior season he threw 160 completions for 2,524 yards and 26 touchdowns. Shinskie also punted for the team. He earned Associated Press All-State first team honors and Associated Press Small School Player of the Year honors in his senior season. Dominique Dion Davis (born July 17, 1989) is an American professional gridiron football quarterback for the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was signed by the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent in 2012. Davis played college football at Boston College, Fort Scott Community College and East Carolina University. The 2009 Emerald Bowl was the eighth edition of the college football bowl game, and was played at AT&T Park in San Francisco, California. The game started at 5:00 PM PST on Saturday, December 26, 2009. The game was telecast on ESPN. USC defeated Boston College 24–13. The presenting sponsor of the 2009 Emerald Bowl was Diamond Foods, promoting its Emerald Nuts brand of snack foods. The New Hampshire Fisher Cats are a Minor League Baseball team based in Manchester, New Hampshire. The team, which plays in the Eastern League, is the Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays major league club. During the team's first season in Manchester, the Fisher Cats played at Gill Stadium, a historic ballpark in a residential neighborhood.
