David Rundblad
David Rundblad (born October 8, 1990) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player who is currently playing with Kärpät in the Liiga. Rundblad was drafted 17th overall by the St. Louis Blues in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. He began his NHL career with the Ottawa Senators before being traded to the Phoenix Coyotes. On March 4, 2014, he was traded to the Chicago Blackhawks. He won the Stanley Cup with the Blackhawks in 2015. Playing career Professional Rundblad scored his first Elitserien goal on March 14, 2009, in a playoff game against Linköpings HC. NHL Central Scouting ranked Rundblad sixth among European skaters for the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, one spot behind Skellefteå AIK teammate Tim Erixon. Arizona Coyotes
The Arizona Coyotes are a professional ice hockey team based in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The Coyotes compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Central Division in the Western Conference and currently play at the Mullett Arena in Tempe. They first played at America West Arena (now Footprint Center) in downtown Phoenix from 1996 to 2003 and then played at Glendale's Gila River Arena (now Desert Diamond Arena) from 2003 to 2022. The Swedish Hockey League (officially SHL; sv, Svenska Hockeyligan) is a professional ice hockey league, and the highest division in the Swedish ice hockey system. The league currently consists of 14 teams. The league was founded in 1975, and while Swedish ice hockey champions have been crowned through various formats since 1922, the title and the Le Mat Trophy have been awarded to the winner of the SHL playoffs since the league's inaugural 1975–76 season. In the 2010–11 season, the SHL was the world's most evenly matched professional ice hockey league. Peter Regin
Peter Regin Jensen (born 16 April 1986) is a Danish professional ice hockey player who plays for Eisbären Berlin of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). He was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the third round (87th overall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft and played his first five NHL seasons with the organization. Before his NHL career, he played professionally in Europe. Playing career Regin played for the Herning Blue Fox of the Danish Elite League from 2002 to 2005, winning Rookie of the Year honors in 2004. The Minnesota Wild are a professional ice hockey team based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The 2009–10 Elitserien season was the 35th season of Elitserien. It started on September 21, 2009 and ended on March 13, 2010. The playoffs started on March 18, 2010 and ended on April 24, 2010. HV71 won the playoffs, beating Timrå IK 4–1 in the quarter final series, Skellefteå AIK 4–1 in the semifinal series, and Djurgårdens IF 4–2 in the final series. David Petrasek
David Petrasek (born February 1, 1976) is a Swedish former professional ice hockey defenceman who last played with HV71 in the Swedish Elitserien. Playing career Petrasek started his playing career with HV71's youth team in 1993. Until the season 1996–97, when he became a regular in the senior squad, he played both with the youth team and the senior team. He was part of the senior squad in the playoffs of 1995 and won the first Swedish Championship for HV71. From 2000–01 to 2004–05 Petrasek was contracted by Malmö Redhawks but returned to HV71 for season 2005–06. The 2010–11 Elitserien season was the 36th season of Elitserien. The regular season ran from 15 September 2010 to 5 March 2011, and the following playoffs ended on 14 April. HV71 won the regular season, scoring the game-winning empty net goal against Södertälje SK in the final round. Färjestads BK won the playoffs and thus became Swedish champions, beating Skellefteå AIK 4–1 in the finals. All of the local derby games between AIK and Djurgårdens IF were played in the Ericsson Globe. Vladimir Andreyevich Tarasenko (russian: Влади́мир Андре́евич Тарасе́нко; born 13 December 1991) is a Russian professional ice hockey right winger and alternate captain for the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League (NHL). The 2010 NHL Entry Draft was the 48th NHL Entry Draft, held on June 25–26, 2010 at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, home arena of the Los Angeles Kings. Luleå Hockeyförening is an ice hockey club from Luleå, Sweden. The club has been playing in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL), the top tier of ice hockey in Sweden, since the 1984–85 season. They are the northernmost team in the league and have won the Swedish championships once, in 1996. Mattias Modig (born 1 April 1987) is a Sweden, Swedish former professional ice hockey goaltender. He played in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) with Luleå HF and Växjö Lakers. Playing career Modig began his professional career in the Swedish Swedish Hockey League, Elitserien (SEL) with Luleå HF during the 2005–06 season. He appeared with Luleå in five seasons through 2010, playing in 126 games. He was drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, 121st overall in the fourth round. In 2010, the Ducks traded Modig's rights to the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for a sixth round draft pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, 2010 draft.
