David Rodela
David Rodela (born July 15, 1982) is an American professional boxer. Amateur career Rodela was the 2004 U.S. National Lightweight Champion. Professional career Rodela is trained by Freddie Roach. He is also the main sparring partner of Jose Benavidez, Manny Pacquiao and Amir Khan. On March 26, 2010 he lost by 3rd round T.K.O to top Junior Lightweight prospect, Mexican Dante Jardon. Super featherweight, also known as junior lightweight, is a boxing weight classes, weight division in professional boxing, contested between and . The super featherweight division was established by the New York Walker Law in 1920, although first founded by the New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC) in 1930.
