David Rivas
David Rivas Rodríguez (born 2 December 1978) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a central defender. He spent most of his 16-year professional career with Betis, appearing in 244 competitive games and winning the 2005 Copa del Rey. In La Liga, he amassed totals of 171 matches and seven goals over nine seasons. Club career Rivas was born in Dos Hermanas, Province of Seville. Having previously played with the club's B-side, he spent the vast majority of his professional career at Real Betis, making his first-team – and La Liga – debuts during the 1999–2000 season: his first game was on 21 August 1999 as he started in a 0–1 away loss against Athletic Bilbao, with his team eventually suffering relegation. Dos Hermanas
Dos Hermanas () is a Spanish city south of Seville in Andalusia, with a population of 131,317 as of 2015. History The city's name, which means "two sisters", dates from its founding in 1248 by King Ferdinand III of Castile and honours Elvira and Estefanía Nazareno, the two sisters of Gonzalo Nazareno, one of the king's principal military commanders. The Liga I (; ''First League''), also spelled as Liga 1, is a Romanian professional league for men's association football clubs. Currently sponsored by betting company Superbet, it is officially known as the SuperLiga. It is the country's top football competition, being contested by 16 clubs which take part in a promotion and relegation system with the Liga II. The teams play 30 matches each in the regular season, before entering the championship play-offs or the relegation play-outs according to their position in the regular table. Juan Gutiérrez Moreno (born 23 July 1976), commonly known as Juanito, is a Spanish football manager and former player who played as a central defender. The 2005–06 UEFA Champions League was the 51st season of UEFA's premier European club football tournament, the UEFA Champions League and the 14th since it was rebranded from the European Cup in 1992. 74 teams from 50 football associations took part, starting with the first qualifying round played on 12 July 2005. The tournament ended with a final between Arsenal and Barcelona at Stade de France, Paris, on 17 May 2006. Barcelona won 2–1 with Juliano Belletti scoring a late winner. The 2004–05 La Liga season, the 74th since its establishment, started on 28 August 2004 and finished on 29 May 2005.
