Dave Preston (American Football)
Richard David Preston (born May 29, 1955) is a former professional American football running back who played six seasons for the Denver Broncos. He was selected by the New England Patriots in the 12th round (333rd overall) of the 1977 NFL Draft, but played his entire six-year career in Denver. He started 35 of 76 games, rushing for 1,793 yards and 10 touchdowns on 479 carries. He also caught 161 passes for 1,423 yards and 3 touchdowns. On special teams, Preston returned 18 punts for an 8.5 average and 26 kickoffs for a 23.0 yard average. In 684 touches, he fumbled 15 times, recovering 4 of them (1 every 62.2 touches). Preston earned the Special Team's MVP his Rookie season, and his most productive year came in 1981 when he combined for 1,150 yards rushing and receiving. During his years with the Broncos, Preston was also very active in community activities, serving as Colorado Sports Chairman for Muscular Dystrophy. David Preston (born circa 1947) is an author in the Seattle area. His published works include ''Motorcycle 101'' and ''Motorcycle 201'' on motorcycle rider safety, and the novels ''Mourning Ride'' and ''The Third Marcia''. The ''Seattle Times'' called ''Motorcycle 101'' a "good introduction" for new riders. Phil K
Phillip Krokidis (6 May 1969 – 1 November 2020), known professionally as Phil K, was an Australian electronic music DJ and record producer from Melbourne. He was a member of the "Aussie breaks" music scene which also includes other Melbourne DJs such as Nubreed and Andy Page. In addition to DJing, Phil K also produced alongside Habersham and Dave Preston in The Operators and was also a member of Hi-Fi Bugs and Lostep. He was known primarily for his DJing of breakbeat music, but often weaved in other genres such as ambient, deep house, and techno and did not pigeonhole himself with a particular genre.
