David Pinkney
David Pinkney is a British businessman and auto racing driver. He competed in the British Touring Car Championship on and off between 1989 and 2011. Racing career James Weaver talked David into racing and he started out in the Uniroyal Saloon Car Championship in 1987 with a £5000 Rover Vitess SD1 racing against the new Sierra Cosworths- in 1988 he raced a Cosworth Sierra in the production saloon championship- then moved on to the BTCC in 1989 with a troubled RS500 prepared by Terry Drury, then three more years in a Cosworth Saphire - Moving back to the BTCC in a Prodrive BMW in 1993. He also briefly raced in the BTCC series with Tim Harvey in 2001 in a rather unreliable Alfa Romeo 147, leaving the JSM team after four rounds and four breakdowns. He has won the VW Vento VR6 Championships in 1996 & 97 - The Vauxhall Vectra winter series and the Vauxhall Vectra SRi Championship in 1998 and 1999. Bridlington
Bridlington is a coastal town and a civil parish on the Holderness Coast of the North Sea in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is about north of Hull and east of York. The 1993 Auto Trader RAC British Touring Car Championship season was 36th British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) season. Season summary At the end of 1992 BMW GB withdrew from the championship after the rules had been changed in a direction which BMW felt disadvantaged them. Prodrive, which had run the works operation for BMW, had been expected to be entering a works Mercedes Benz team in cooperation with AMG, running the C-class. Prodrive stalwart Tim Sugden and Bernd Schneider were due to drive for the team. The plans were for a late season appearance leading to a full challenge in 1994, but this eventually came to nothing. Vic Lee Motorsport was liquidated after owner Vic Lee's drug scandal. The assets of the team were taken over by Steve Neal and Ray Bellm, who picked up personnel from Euroracing's discontinued sports car effort and merged it into Neal's Rimstock Racing outfit, creating Team Dynamics. Robert Christopher Austin (born 1 February 1981) is a British racing driver who formerly competed in the British Touring Car Championship. He was born in Evesham, Worcestershire. Racing career Formula 3 His career started in British Formula Renault in 1998, where he raced until 1999. Team Dynamics Motorsport is a UK-based motor-racing team based in Droitwich, Worcestershire; best known for their successes in the British Touring Car Championship, including winning the Overall Drivers title in 2005, 2006 and 2011 with Matt Neal and 2012, 2015 and 2016 with Gordon 'Flash' Shedden. Seat Cupra Championship
The SEAT Cupra Championship was a one-make series that ran for six years between 2003 and 2008, the last five of which ran as a support package to the British Touring Car Championship.
