David Navarro (footballer)
David Navarro Pedrós (; born 25 May 1980) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a central defender, and the current coordinator of the sports management team at Levante UD. He amassed La Liga totals of 254 matches and ten goals over 15 seasons, representing in the competition Valencia, Mallorca and Levante. Often regarded by most pundits, as one of greatest defenders of his generation. Club career Valencia Born in Sagunto, Valencian Community, Navarro was a product of local Valencia CF's youth ranks. During the course of six seasons he appeared sporadically for the 2002 and 2004 champions of La Liga; he added a rare goal on 26 February 2004, in a UEFA Cup win over Beşiktaş JK ( 3–2 home win, achieved in the last minute), as the ''Che'' eventually emerged victorious in the tournament. Julio Ricardo Cruz (born 10 October 1974) is an Argentine former Association football, footballer. He played for clubs in Argentina, the Netherlands and Italy before retiring in 2010. Iván Ramiro Córdoba Sepúlveda (, born 11 August 1976) is a retired Colombian footballer, who played as a defender. He began his career in Colombia with Deportivo Rionegro and Atlético Nacional, before moving to Argentine club San Lorenzo. In 2000, he joined Italian side Internazionale, where he spent most of his career, remaining with the club until his retirement in 2012. At international level, Córdoba played for the Colombia national team, and represented his nation at the 1998 FIFA World Cup, the 2003 FIFA Confederations Cup, and four editions of the Copa América, winning the tournament in 2001, where he scored the winning goal in the final. Nicolás Andrés Burdisso (born 12 April 1981) is an Argentine football manager and former professional player who played as a centre back. Burdisso began his career with Boca Juniors. Here, he won Argentine Championships, three Copa Libertadores and two Intercontinental Cups. Carlos Marchena López (; born 31 July 1979) is a Spanish retired footballer, and a manager. Mainly a central defender with an aggressive approach, he also played as a defensive midfielder. 2006–07 UEFA Champions League
The 2006–07 UEFA Champions League was the 15th season of UEFA's premier European club football tournament, the UEFA Champions League, since it was rebranded from the European Cup, and the 52nd season overall. The final was contested by Milan and Liverpool on 23 May 2007. Beforehand, the match was billed as a repeat of the 2005 final, the only difference being that the 2007 final was to be played at the Olympic Stadium in Athens, Greece.
