David Michael (politician)
David Robert Michael (born 25 January 1980) is an Australian politician. He has been a Labor member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly since the 2017 state election, representing Balcatta. Michael is the WA Parliament's first MP of Finnish descent. Michael worked for several state Labor MPs, and ran unsuccessfully for Churchlands in 2001. In 2005 he was elected to City of Stirling council, becoming its youngest ever member, aged 25. He served as deputy mayor from 2011 to 2013. Michael's current priorities as MP are upgrades to Balcatta Senior High School and Osborne Park Hospital and for the McGowan Government as is the Stephenson Avenue Extension. In March 2021, he was appointed as the Cabinet Secretary to the returned McGowan Labor Government, after having served as Government Whip since the 2017 election. David Tibet
David Tibet (born David Michael Bunting; 5 March 1960) is a British poet and artist who founded the music group Current 93, of which he is the only full-time member. He was given the name "Tibet" by Genesis P-Orridge, and in January 2005 he announced that he would revert to the name David Michael, although he continues to use the well-known "Tibet" in his public career to date. Career David Bunting was born in Batu Gajah, Perak, Malaysia. Early in his career, he collaborated with Psychic TV and 23 Skidoo. Tibet left Psychic TV in 1983 and founded Current 93 the same year. David Moritz Michael (October 21, 1751 – February 26, 1827) was a composer. David Moritz Michael was born in Kumhausen in 1751 and was educated in Germany. He became a member of the Moravian Church when he was thirty years old. He taught in the Moravian school at Niesky and, in 1795, he emigrated to Pennsylvania. Moritz Michael's official church position was as a worker with the young men of the Moravian congregations in Nazareth and Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and his contributions to the musical life of the Moravian settlements in Pennsylvania was great.
