David McDuling
David McDuling (born 7 April 1989 in Sydney, Australia) is a rugby union footballer for the in Super Rugby. He usually plays as a lock and previously played with the and Super Rugby teams, and for in the New Zealand Mitre 10 Cup competition. He was educated at Saint Ignatius' College, Riverview. Career Queensland Reds / Brisbane City McDuling joined the Academy in 2011; he was named in their squad for the 2012 Super Rugby season, but did not make any appearances due to an anterior cruciate ligament knee injury. He suffered another knee injury upon his return that also ruled him out of the entire 2013 season. He eventually made his Super Rugby debut on 11 May 2014 when he came on as a substitute in their match against the in Brisbane. The 2009 IRB Junior World Championship (known as the 2009 IRB Toshiba Junior World Championship for sponsorship reasons) was the second annual international rugby union competition for Under 20 national teams, this competition replaces the now defunct under 19 and under 21 world championships. The Australian Schoolboys & U18 rugby union team is the national team for schoolboy rugby union & U18 players in Australia. Considered to be the pinnacle of schoolboy & U18 rugby in Australia, the team plays in fixtures against other national representative schoolboy teams from around the world. Many players who have played in the Australian Schoolboys team have gone on to further representative careers with Super Rugby franchise teams and the Australian national rugby union team.
