David Levine (executive)
David Levine is an entertainment executive. Background Levine was born in Montreal. At the start of his career, he was a news broadcaster in Toronto. In the 1970s, he worked at CKGM and CKEY. After several years in this field, he joined Vickers and Benson Advertising in Canada as the director of promotion. Soon thereafter, he became the General Manager of Vickers and Benson’s Analytical Communications, Inc. In the 1970s, Levine established promark in Canada as a promotions agency. In 1977, Promark landed the contract to promote a daredevil called " The Human Fly". This project allowed the company to enter into the entertainment industry and the U.S. market. Levine sold the property to Marvel Comics, who turned it into a comic book superhero. Toy rights were sold to Mattel Toys. CKGM
CKGM ('' TSN 690 Montreal'') is an English-language AM radio station in Montreal, Quebec, owned by Bell Media Radio. Formerly an affiliate of sports radio network " The Team," it was one of three stations to retain the sports format after the network folded in 2002 until it switched to the TSN Radio branding in October 2011. CKGM has been an all-sports station since May 2001. Its studios and offices are located on René Lévesque Boulevard East in Downtown Montreal. Human Fly (comics)
The Human Fly is the name of three fictional characters appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. One is a supervillain that was an occasional antagonist of Spider-Man, and the other two were superheroes, one of which was the title of a short-lived series in the late 1950s reprinting some of Fox's Blue Beetle strips from the 1940s. Lisa Dal Bello (born 22 May 1959), also known as Dalbello, is a Canadian musician. She released three albums in the pop and pop/rock genre in her late teens, from 1977 through 1981 under her full name. In 1984, she re-emerged as Dalbello, with an edgier brand of alternative rock.
