David Levin (balloonist)
David N. Levin (June 10, 1948 – May 13, 2017) was an American Balloon (aeronautics), balloonist. He is the only balloonist to have completed the "triple crown" by winning the :de:FAI World Gas Balloon Championship, World Gas Balloon Championship, the World Hot Air Ballooning Championships and the Gordon Bennett Cup (ballooning), Gordon Bennett Cup. In 1992, Levin also became the first balloonist to win ballooning's four major events, having won the U.S. National Hot Air Balloon Championship along with the "triple crown". Ballooning In 1975, Levin made his first hot air balloon flight in a homemade balloon in Connecticut. The following year, Levin and a childhood friend, Link Z. David Levin (born 1963) is a British businessman. In 2019, he was named university entrepreneur in residence at Arizona State University and is the creator and Executive Producer oREMOTE: The Connected Faculty Summit He served as the president and CEO of McGraw-Hill Education from 2014 to 2017. David Levin (ice Hockey)
David Levin ( he, דוד לוין, russian: Давид Левин; born September 16, 1999) is an Israeli-born professional ice hockey player. He currently plays for Nottingham Panthers in the EIHL. He previously played for the Sudbury Wolves of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) and for Dinamo Riga of the Kontinental Hockey League. Born in Israel, Levin initially only played inline hockey due to the scarcity of ice rinks in Israel. At the age of 12 he moved to Canada in order to pursue a hockey career, living with relatives in the Greater Toronto Area, and it was in Canada that Levin first played organized ice hockey. He was drafted first overall in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection, and began playing for the Wolves in the 2015–16 season. David L. Levin is an American author and singer-songwriter who has recorded with such artists as Bradley Joseph. He started his career as keyboardist for the band Patriot and later released four albums as a solo artist. His first release, ''Heaven'', features Paul Peterson on bass. George William Wenzel (February 27, 1913 – August 25, 2004) was an American professional wrestler and World Heavyweight Champion who was active in the early portion of the twentieth century, best known under the ring name Dave Levin. Introduction to Professional Wrestling Dave Levin made his debut on November 1, 1934 defeating Sammy Gold in 24 seconds. The Brooklyn Times Union said that Levin was a “wrestling prodigy” discovered by Lloyd Rose. Rose stated that Levin is “a miniature of the old Russian Lion, George Hackenschmidt.” Jack Pfeffer praised Levin but that the discovery was really Mrs. Rose and not her husband.
