David Lauser
David Lauser (born 20 February 1951) is an American rock drummer, who is most famous for playing with Sammy Hagar. Sammy Hagar and David Lauser played together in a band called Justice Brothers before Sammy Hagar joined Montrose. Lauser later played on various Sammy Hagar solo albums, starting with '' Standing Hampton'', and is now a member of The Waboritas, and has also played with Sammy Hagar in Los Tres Gusanos. Lauser's first marriage to Jacqueline Cushen in 1982 resulted in having one daughter, Danielle Marie, also known affectionately as "Ella Bean." In 2002, Lauser married his second wife. On January 4, 2015, his wife Liza Cozad-Lauser died from cancer. David Lauser continues to tour with Sammy Hagar's Wabos and December People, a charitable rock and roll holidays band. ''Red Voodoo'' is the eleventh studio album by American rock musician Sammy Hagar, and his first album to feature his band the Waboritas. This album was released on March 23, 1999, by MCA Records. When Hagar finished touring in support of his ''Marching to Mars'' album, he recorded this album. ''Red Voodoo'' is an extension of the party atmosphere that permeated Hagar's concerts on that tour and the album contains a party-vibe. Everett Joseph "Vic" Firth (June 2, 1930 – July 26, 2015) was an American musician and the founder of Vic Firth Company (formerly Vic Firth, Inc.), a company that makes percussion mallet, percussion sticks and mallets. Biography Vic Firth was born June 2, 1930, in Winchester, Massachusetts. He was raised in Sanford, Maine by parents Everett E. and Rosemary Firth, where he graduated from Sanford High School. Son of a successful trumpet player, he started learning the cornet at age four, turning later to percussion, trombone, clarinet, piano, and music arrangement. When he reached high school, he was a full-time percussionist, and created an 18-piece band at age 16. He played a variety of percussion instruments such as vibraphone, timpani, and the drum set.
