David Hunt (footballer, Born 1982)
David John Hunt (born 10 September 1982) is an English football midfielder who is unattached. Playing career Born in London, Hunt began as a trainee with Crystal Palace, but made only a few appearances after turning professional. He moved to Leyton Orient in 2003, playing 74 times in all competitions in two seasons. He then moved to Northampton Town, where he was a key player in the club's successful promotion season of 2005–06, with his long throw-in being a prominent weapon in the team's tactical arsenal that year. Hunt signed for Shrewsbury Town on 15 May 2007, on a two-year deal after rejecting an offer of a contract extension at Northampton. In January 2009, he came to an agreement with Paul Simpson, the Shrewsbury Town boss, on the remainder of his contract and consequently left the club as he attempted to move back down south as his family failed to settle in the area. David Hunt (diplomat)
Sir David Hunt (25 September 1913 – 30 July 1998) was a British diplomat, perhaps best remembered as winner of the BBC's ''Mastermind'' television quiz in 1977. Life and career Hunt was born in Durham, and studied at Wadham College, Oxford. He served with distinction in World War II, and entered the diplomatic service in 1947. He served as Private Secretary to prime ministers Clement Attlee and Winston Churchill, and was knighted in 1963. From 1965 to 1967 he was the British High Commissioner to Cyprus. From 1967 to 1969, he served as High Commissioner to Nigeria. Dave Hunt (musician)
Dave Hunt is an English extreme metal vocalist. He is the vocalist of Anaal Nathrakh under the pseudonym V.I.T.R.I.O.L., ( la, Visita Interiora Terræ Rectificando Invenies Occultum Lapidem, lit=Visit the interior of the earth, and by rectifying, you will discover the hidden stone), a phrase found in alchemical literature which purports to be the origin of the name of vitriol. He was also the vocalist of Mistress under the pseudonym Dave Cunt until their split in March 2008. Notably, Dave Hunt's lyrics for his main band, Anaal Nathrakh, are never released or published in album liner notes. The one known exception is the song "Tod Huetet Uebel" from '' Passion'', which was written as a collaboration with Rainer Landfermann, best known for his vocal work on the Bethlehem album '' Dictius Te Necare''. David Hunt (October 22, 1779 – May 18, 1861) was an American planter based in the Natchez District of Mississippi who controlled 25 plantations, thousands of acres, and more than 1,000 slaves in the antebellum era. From New Jersey, he joined his uncle in Mississippi business. He became a major philanthropist in the South, contributing to educational institutions in Mississippi, as well as the American Colonization Society and Mississippi Colonization Society, the latter of which he was a founding member. Known as "King David," Hunt made a fortune in cotton production and sales. David Anthony Hunt (15 February 1935 – 19 July 2019) was an Australian judge who served on the Supreme Court of New South Wales, where he was the Chief Judge at Common Law, and the Judicial Commission of New South Wales. Subsequent to his retirement in 1998, Justice Hunt joined the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (where he signed the warrant for the arrest of Slobodan Milošević) and the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. Gabrielle Louise McIntyre served as his legal adviser at the ICTY. Justice Hunt was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia in the 2000 Australia Day Honours for "service to the judiciary, to the law and to the community particularly in the areas of criminal law, the law of defamation, and international law in defence of human rights". Justice Hunt is remembered as the judge who sentenced serial killer Ivan Milat. Justice Hunt was the father of political satirist Simon Hunt, sometimes known as Pauline Pantsdown.

David Richard Hunt (25 September 1938 – 20 May 2019) was an English botanist and taxonomist. He was a specialist in cacti and the spiderwort family.
