David Henry Bohm
David Henry Bohm (born November 4, 1968) is an American bicycle framebuilder and owner of Bohemian Bicycles. Early life and education David Bohm was born in Chicago, Illinois. At age 6 his family moved to Tucson, Arizona where he spent his childhood. He attended Colorado Rocky Mountain School where he learned welding and silver smithing. After high school he attended college at Lake Forest College and the University of Arizona Bicycle racing career Bohm had a brief career in Category 2 racing. Framebuilding career Bohm began making bicycle frames in 1994. He is a graduate of United Bicycle Institute in Ashland, Oregon. Colorado Rocky Mountain School (CRMS), founded in 1953, is a coeducational boarding and day school in Carbondale, Colorado. CRMS educates roughly 175 students in grades 9 through 12. United Bicycle Institute
United Bicycle Institute (UBI) is a private career school for bicycle mechanics and custom bicycle frame building in Ashland, Oregon, United States. The school offers one and two week courses in addition to continuing education seminars, and has hosted students from over 45 different countries. Licensed by the Oregon Higher Education Coordinating Commission, UBI educates veterans and those with VA education benefits, as well as traditional students ranging from home mechanics to experienced mechanics looking to certify or continue their education in more specialized avenues like wheel-building, suspension work, and frame building.
