David Henderson (born September 19, 1942) is an American writer and poet. Henderson was a co-founder of the Black Arts Movement in the 1960s. He has been an active member of New York’s Lower East Side art community for more than 40 years. His work has appeared in many literary publications and anthologies, and he has published four volumes of his own poetry. He is most known for his highly acclaimed biography of rock guitarist, Jimi Hendrix, which he revised and expanded for a second edition which was published in 2009. Lieutenant General Sir David Henderson, (11 August 1862 – 17 August 1921) was the senior leader of British military aviation during the First World War, having previously established himself as the leading authority on tactical intelligence in the British Army. He served as the commander of the Royal Flying Corps in the field during the first year of the First World War and was instrumental in establishing the Royal Air Force as an independent service. David McKinley Henderson (born July 21, 1964) is the amateur basketball scout for the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers. As a basketball player, Henderson was senior co-captain of the Duke Blue Devil 1986 team that reached the NCAA Final Four. After graduating from Duke, Henderson played professional basketball for 10 years in the United States, Israel, France, and Turkey. After retirement from playing basketball, Henderson worked for three years as an assistant men’s basketball coach for Duke, followed by a six year stint as head men’s basketball coach at the University of Delaware. David Kennedy Henderson FRSE FRCPE (24 April 1884 – 20 April 1965) was a Scotland, Scottish physician and psychiatrist and served as president of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh 1949 to 1951. Biography He was born on 24 April 1884 in Dumfries, Scotland. In 1913 he was awarded a PhD by the University of Edinburgh for his thesis "Cerebral syphilis a clinical analysis of twenty-six cases, seven with autopsy". He co-published with R.D.
