David Haynes
David Haynes (born 10 June 1981) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with the West Coast Eagles and Geelong in the Australian Football League (AFL), and East Perth in the West Australian Football League (WAFL). Originally from North Warrnambool Football Club in the Hampden Football League, Haynes played for junior club Geelong Falcons before being drafted by West Coast with the 16th selection of the 1999 AFL draft, which the Eagles had secured from Fremantle in exchange for Brendon Fewster. Haynes made his senior AFL debut in 2000 but spent most of his first two seasons in the WAFL with East Perth, where he was a member of their 2001 premiership team. A half forward flanker, he kicked 27 goals from 21 appearances for West Coast in 2003. Geelong Falcons
The Geelong Falcons is a youth Australian rules football representative club in the NAB League, the Victorian statewide under-18s competition, Victoria, Australia. The club takes in talented junior players from the Geelong, Colac and Warrnambool regions in order to prepare them for AFL selection. There is an under-15 V-Line cup side and an under-16 side, but the club's main focus is its under-18 side, who play a longer season. In 2007, Jimmy Bartel became the first ex-Falcon to win the AFL Brownlow Medal, for the league's best and fairest player, while Jonathan Brown became the first ex-Falcon to win the Coleman Medal for the most goals in the season. Gary Ablett Jnr also became the first ex-Falcon to win the Leigh Matthews Trophy, for being voted the Most Valuable Player by the AFL Players Association. Rachael Louise Haynes (born 26 December, 1986) is an Australian former international cricketer who has won six world championships as a member of the national women's team. A left-handed batter, Haynes was vice-captain of Australia from 2017 to 2022. Domestically, she achieved prolonged success in the Women's National Cricket League (WNCL) and the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL), winning seven titles with New South Wales and two with the Sydney Thunder. Sam Butler
Samuel Butler (born 14 January 1986) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). A talented underage soccer player from Gawler, South Australia, who only took up football as a teenager, he was drafted by West Coast with the 20th pick at the 2003 National Draft, having played in a SANFL reserves premiership for Central District the year he was drafted. Butler debuted for West Coast during the 2004 season, and was nominated for the AFL Rising Star award. A mid-sized defender and occasional midfielder, he played in West Coast's 2006 premiership team, but missed the entire next season due to injury. Butler has struggled with injury throughout his career, only playing his 100th game during the 2013 season, ten seasons after his debut.
