Dave Hart
David R. Hart (May 24, 1925 – March 14, 2009) was an American football player, coach, and college athletics administrator. He served as the head football coach at the University of Pittsburgh from 1966 to 1968, compiling a record of 3–27. Biography Hart was the athletic director at the University of Louisville from 1973 to 1978. He also served in the same capacity at the University of Missouri from 1978 to 1986, before he was appointed as the commissioner of the Southern Conference. Hart was a native of Connellsville, Pennsylvania. He coached high school football in Pennsylvania for eleven years before moving to the college ranks in 1962, when he became an assistant coach at the University of Kentucky. After two seasons at Kentucky, Hart moved to the United States Naval Academy, where he coached the defensive backfield in 1964 and 1965. Hart died on March 14, 2009, at the age of eighty-three. David Berry Hart
Dr David Berry Hart FRSE FRCPE (12 October 1851 – 10 June 1920) was a Scottish gynaecological surgeon and academic. Life David Berry Hart was born in Edinburgh on 12 October 1851. He graduated M.B., C.M. from the University of Edinburgh in 1877. Specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology, he continued his studies and obtained his doctorate MD in 1880, with a gold medal and the Syme Surgical Fellowship on "''The Structural Anatomy of the female pelvic floor''". He was Secretary of the Edinburgh Obstetrical Society between 1879 and 1883 and became President in 1890. He was also Librarian to the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. In 1888 he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh. His proposers were Andrew Douglas Maclagan, Sir Alexander Russell Simpson, Sir William Turner, and Sir German Sims Woodhead. David Hart (born February 6, 1954) is an American actor and singer best known for his portrayal of Sgt. Parker Williams on the television series '' In the Heat of the Night'' (1988 to 1995). David Hart (footballer)
David Hart (born 3 March 1964) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with West Coast in the AFL. Although he was born in Victoria he was brought up in the West Australian town of Bruce Rock. He played seven games for West Perth, followed by 55 games with South Fremantle before being recruited by West Coast. A rover come defender, Hart played in West Coast's inaugural VFL side in 1987. His best season came in 1994 when he earned All Australian selection and won a premiership. In 1996 he was named in the backline in West Coast's Team of the Decade. David Ananda Hart (fl. c. 2000) is a British radical theologian, Anglican priest and a practicing Hindu. Career Educated at Keble College, Oxford and Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York, with a doctorate in Philosophy of Religion from the University of Derby, Hart is a prominent member of a group of non-realist theologians inspired by the work of Don Cupitt. In the 1990s Hart worked as a chaplin at Loughborough University in the midlands. In 2006 Hart was the subject of some controversy after newspapers in India and the UK reported that he had converted to Hinduism, changing his middle name from Alan to Ananda, but without renouncing Christianity or his priestly orders. David Bentley Hart (born 1965) is a writer, philosopher, religious studies scholar, critic, and theologian with academic works published on a wide range of topics including Christian metaphysics, philosophy of mind, classics, Asian languages, and literature. In 2015, Hart was granted a Templeton Fellowship at the University of Notre Dame Institute for Advanced Study with research and a conference focused on the philosophy of mind.
