Dave Harding
David Harding (born 14 August 1946) is an English former football (soccer) midfielder. He played for Wrexham from 1965 to 1966, New Brighton in the Cheshire League 1967-68 and then South Liverpool in the Northern Premier League,Jawad, Hyder (2013), Rest In Pieces: South Liverpool FC 1894-1994, p456 before moving to Australia where he played for Pan Hellenic, Western Suburbs, Blacktown City and APIA until 1981. In this time he won NSW representative honours in 1974 against Bristol Rovers. David Harding (financier)
Sir David Winton Harding (born August 1961) is a British billionaire businessman, and the founder and CEO of Winton Group. He had previously co-founded Man AHL (formerly Adam, Harding & Lueck). His approach favours quantitative investment strategies, using scientific research as the basis of trading decisions. Harding is also known for his philanthropy, which includes a £100m donation to the University of Cambridge, the largest ever donation by a British citizen to a university. Harding has also endowed the Winton Professor of the Public Understanding of Risk in the Statistical Laboratory at Cambridge's Faculty of Mathematics, and established the Harding Center for Risk Literacy at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development. David Harding (artist)
David Harding, (b 1937) is a Scottish artist best known for his residency as a town artist in Glenrothes and as Head of Environmental Art at Glasgow School of Art. He was born in Leith, Scotland. Education From 1955-1959 Harding attended Edinburgh College of Art, where he studied the sculptural use of glass, concrete and ceramics. He attended Moray House College of Education in 1960. Career From 1961-1963 he taught in various schools in Scotland before moving to Nigeria (1963 - 1967) to work in the art department in a bush teacher training college. He returned from Nigeria at the age of 30 and decided to give up teaching, instead undertaking sculpture commissions. Having spent a year as a self employed artist, Harding answered an advert in The Scotsman newspaper for a post with Glenrothes Development Corporation. David Hardingham (born 1965) is a British-based reform activist, aid organiser, entrepreneur and the former Honorary Consul of the Maldives (Nasheed Administration) in Salisbury (UK). He is also co-founder and director of the London based human rights organisatiochinawatch.co.uk (CW)where they monitor the rule of law and human rights in China.
