David Griffiths (golfer)
David Griffiths (born 26 May 1980) is an English professional golfer. Career Griffiths had a notable amateur career, winning the Carris Trophy and captaining the England boys side before turning professional in 2001. Griffiths reached the final stage of PGA Tour qualifying school in 2002, enabling him to join the Nationwide Tour for 2003, where he would play nine events. For 2004 he returned to Europe, playing the Challenge Tour before successfully completing the European Tour's qualifying school that winter. He played on the European Tour from 2005 to 2008, where his best finishes were a pair of T3s, in the 2007 Estoril Open de Portugal and the 2006 Open de España, which he had led after three rounds. He returned to the Challenge Tour for 2009 after a poor 2008 season, and only made one cut at that level in 2010. David Griffiths (cricketer)
David Andrew Griffiths (born 10 September 1985) is an English former professional cricketer who most recently played for Kent County Cricket Club. He is a right arm fast bowler who bats left-handed. Before signing for Kent in 2014, Griffiths had previously played for Hampshire and represented England at under-19 level. Griffiths' contract with Kent expired at the end of the 2016 and was not renewed by the county. In June 2022, Griffiths joined English side Carisbrooke High School Old Boys, marking his debut with a final over victory at the Victoria Recreation Ground. Youth career Born on the Isle of Wight, Griffiths was a member of the Hampshire Academy. He played for the England under-19 team against Bangladesh under-19s in 2004 and toured Malaysia and India with the side in 2005, playing a total of three Under-19 Test matches and four Under-19 One Day Internationals.

David Griffiths (26 November 1963 – 2 March 2007) was a British boxer. He competed in the men's light welterweight event at the 1984 Summer Olympics, reaching the third round. He turned professional after the Games and won the Welsh super light-welterweight title in January 1988 and defended the title the following year. Early life Griffiths was born in Glossop Terrace in Adamsdown, Cardiff, Wales. He was the youngest of nine children born to Kenneth Griffiths and his wife Vivienne. He attended Willows High School. David Griffiths (1867–1935) was an early 20th century American agronomist and botanist who was a specialist on fungi and on seed-producing plants, especially cacti. Biography David Griffiths grew up in South Dakota after his family emigrated there from his birthplace of Aberystwyth, Wales. He attended South Dakota Agricultural College, receiving both a B.A. (1892) and an MSc (1893) from that institution. For a few years after leaving college, he taught high school science classes. In 1898, he began doctoral studies at Columbia University, focusing on fungi and publishing on such agriculturally important fungal diseases as powdery mildew, ergots, and smuts. After gaining his Ph.D. degree in 1900, he became a professor of botany at the University of Arizona Experiment Station, where he studied desert plants. David Griffiths (20 December 1792 – 21 March 1863), was a Welsh Christian missionary and translator in Madagascar. He translated the Bible and other books into the Malagasy language. The Malagasy Bible of 1835 was among the first Bibles to be printed in an African language.
