David Fatialofa
David Fatialofa is a New Zealand rugby league player who played professionally in England for Whitehaven. Playing career Fatialofa was an Auckland Warriors junior and played in the 1995 Lion Red Cup final. He also represented the Junior Kiwis in 1992 and 1993 and played in France during the 1995/96 season. He then moved to England, joining the Whitehaven under New Zealand coach Stan Martin. Auckland Warriors
The New Zealand Warriors are a professional rugby league football club based in Auckland, New Zealand that competes in the National Rugby League (NRL) premiership and is the League's only team from outside Australia. They were formed in 1995 as the Auckland Warriors, and are officially known as the One New Zealand Warriors for sponsorship reasons. The Warriors are coached by Andrew Webster and captained by Tohu Harris. The Warriors are based at Mount Smart Stadium in the Auckland suburb of Penrose. For the 1995 season the newly formed Auckland Warriors became the first club from outside Australia to be admitted to the Australian Rugby League's premiership when it expanded from 16 to 20 teams. The 1995 New Zealand rugby league season was the 88th season of rugby league that had been played in New Zealand. The main feature of the year was the second season of the Lion Red Cup competition that was run by the New Zealand Rugby League. The North Harbour Sea Eagles won the Cup by defeating the Auckland Warriors Colts 28–21 in the Grand Final. International competitions The New Zealand national rugby league team played a two test series against France with tests being played at Ericsson Stadium in Auckland and FMG Stadium in Palmerston North. The Junior Kiwis side represents New Zealand in the sport of rugby league. They are commonly known as the Junior Kiwis, after the native bird of that name. Stan Martin (rugby League)
Stan Martin is a New Zealand former rugby league footballer who played in the 1950s through to the 1980s, and coached in the 1990s and 2000s. He coached at representative level for the Cook Islands at the 2000 World Cup and New Zealand (Kiwi Ferns) to victory in the 2008 Women's Rugby League World Cup, and at club level for Marist Saints, Counties Manukau and Whitehaven.
