David Erler
David Erler (born 1981) is a German countertenor, a male classical singer in the alto vocal range, specialising in Baroque music. Career Erler was born in Auerbach (Vogtland). He attended the musical gymnasium ''Clara-Wieck-Gymnasium'' in Zwickau, and studied at the Musikhochschule Leipzig with Maria Jonas and mainly Marek Rzepka, on a scholarship of the Hanns Seidel Foundation. He took masterclasses with Andreas Scholl, Marius van Altena and The King’s Singers. He graduated in 2006. Jos Van Immerseel
Jos Van Immerseel (born 9 November 1945) is a Belgian harpsichordist, pianist and conductor. Van Immerseel studied organ, piano and harpsichord at the Antwerp Conservatory under Flor Peeters, Eugène Traey and harpsichordist and musicologist Kenneth Gilbert. He created the Collegium Musicum there, developing his interest in Renaissance and Baroque music, later expanding his activities to include the Classical and early Romantic eras. He is now in demand as a fortepianist in concert halls across Europe, where he is known for his refined sensitivity to the rhetorical aspects of music and for his skills in improvisation. Stimmwerck is a male classical music vocal quartet ensemble specializing in the rediscovery and reproduction of the music of little known renaissance composers of the German-speaking world. History Stimmwerck was founded in Munich, Germany in 2001, by four specialists in classical vocal ensemble singing; the two tenors, Gerhard Hölzle and Klaus Wenk, bass singer Marcus Schmidl, and counter tenor Franz Vitzthum. Purpose Their name reflects the ensemble's structure and purpose. Roland Wilson (conductor)
Roland Wilson (born 1956 in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England) is a British cornett player, and conductor based in Germany. Roland Wilson originally studied trumpet at the Royal College of Music, London, then specializing in the baroque cornett. After moving to Germany, he worked as a soloist for other ensembles, for example alongside fellow cornettist Bruce Dickey, in the March 1985 recording of the Heinrich Schütz ''Opus Ultimum'' with the Hilliard Ensemble and Knabenchor Hannover for EMI. In 1976 he founded Musica Fiata, an ensemble specialising in baroque wind music. Jos Van Veldhoven
Josephus Maria Martinus van Veldhoven (born 1952 in Den Bosch) is a Dutch choral conductor. He studied musicology at the Rijksuniversiteit of Utrecht, and choral and orchestral conducting at the Royal Conservatory, the Hague. He was artistic director of the Netherlands Bach Society (Nederlandse Bachvereniging) from 1983 to 2018. In this capacity he regularly gave performances at home and abroad of the major works of Johann Sebastian Bach and his predecessors and contemporaries. In addition he has been the director since 1976 of the Utrechts Barok Consort, which he founded. He has made a great number of radio, television, and CD recordings with his ensembles, and he has appeared in festivals in the Netherlands, many countries in Western Europe, the United States, and Japan. Gotthold Schwarz (born 2 May 1952 in Zwickau) is a German Bass-baritone and conductor. Based in Leipzig, he started as a member of the Thomanerchor and has conducted the Gewandhausorchester. Between 2016 and 2021, he was the 17th Thomaskantor after Johann Sebastian Bach. Biography Schwarz was the son of the cantor of St. Paul Church in Zwickau, which gave him an early contact with music. Hans-Christoph Rademann (born 5 August 1965 in Dresden) is a German choral conductor, currently the director of the Dresdner Kammerchor and the Internationale Bachakademie Stuttgart.
