Eiland is a multi-instrumentalist playing saxophones, guitar, bass, drums, Aerophone, Lyricon and EWI amongst other instruments. Biography David Eiland has enjoyed a successful career in the music business for over 35 years. In the 1970s he was member in a variety of bands in the Twin Cities, he was also a founding member of the funk band Flyte Tyme. David William Eiland (born July 5, 1966) is an American former professional baseball player who was a pitcher for ten Major League Baseball seasons. Eiland played college baseball for the University of Florida and the University of South Florida, and thereafter, played professionally for the New York Yankees, San Diego Padres and Tampa Bay Devil Rays. He has also been a pitching coach for the New York Yankees, the New York Mets and the Kansas City Royals. Early years Eiland was born in Dade City, Florida. He graduated from Zephyrhills High School.
