David Daniels (born September 16, 1969) is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) who played for the Seattle Seahawks. David Harley Daniels (born April 2, 1971) is a Canadian basketball coach and former player. Early life and career Daniels was born in Fort St. John, British Columbia. He played college basketball at Clackamas Community College and Colorado Christian University, earning first-team all-conference at both colleges. He was named the 1993 Colorado Athletic Conference Most Valuable Player after ranking second nationally in assists and leading his team to the Colorado Athletic Conference title. Following his collegiate career, Daniels played for the Denver Nuggets at the 1993 Rocky Mountain Review NBA Summer League and split the 1993–94 CBA season with the Rochester Renegades and the Yakima Sun Kings. David Wilder Daniels (December 20, 1933 – April 24, 2020) was an American conductor and author. Education His education includes a preparatory department diploma from the Eastman School of Music, an AB degree from Oberlin College, an MA (musicology) from Boston University, and an MFA (organ) and a PhD (orchestral literature and conducting) from the University of Iowa. He spent two summers studying at Tanglewood, and another two with Richard Lert at the Institute for Orchestral Studies. Conducting career Daniels was Music Director of the Warren Symphony Orchestra (Michigan) from its inception in 1974 until his retirement in 2010. He was Professor Emeritus at Oakland University, where he taught for 28 years, six of them as chair of the Department of Music, Theatre and Dance. David Daniels (born 12 March 1966) is an American countertenor. Youth Daniels was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, the son of two singing teachers. He began to sing as a boy soprano, moving to tenor as his voice matured. His father, baritone Perry Daniels, was one of the pre-eminent members of the performing faculty during each summer at Brevard Music Center, linked to the School of Music at Converse College in Spartanburg; his mother was an operatic soprano. Daniels studied music at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music. Dissatisfied with his achievements as a tenor, Daniels switched to singing countertenor during graduate studies at the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance (Master of Music in 1992) under the guidance of his teacher, George Shirley. A right-handed batsman, he made his first-class debut for Cambridge University in 1964 against the touring Australians. From 1964 to 1965, he represented Cambridge University in 18 first-class matches, with his final match for the University coming against Oxford University.
