David D. Nelson
David Daniel Nelson (born 1956) is a United States Foreign Service Officer and a career member of the Senior Foreign Service. He has notably served as the United States Ambassador to Uruguay. Biography David D. Nelson was born in Minnesota. He received a B.A. the University of Wisconsin and a master's degree in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park, University of Maryland. From 1982 to 1984, he served as a diplomat in Montevideo, Uruguay. He also served in Berlin, Madrid, Bonn, Quito, and the U.S. Consulate in Mérida, Yucatán. Foreign Service Officer
A Foreign Service Officer (FSO) is a commissioned member of the United States Foreign Service. Foreign Service Officers formulate and implement the foreign policy of the United States. FSOs spend most of their careers overseas as members of U.S. embassies, consulates, and other diplomatic missions, though some receive assignments to serve at combatant commands, Congress, and educational institutions such as the various U.S. war colleges. Foreign Service Officers are one of five categories of Foreign Service employees. Julissa (born Julia Isabel de Llano Macedo; 8 April 1944 in Mexico City, D.F., Mexico) is a Mexican actress, producer and singer. She is the daughter of radio and television personality Luis de Llano Palmer and actress Rita Macedo. Her children are: Benny Ibarra (a singer, musician, producer and actor) and Alejandro Ibarra (actor and singer); and her brother is a Televisa staff producer, Luis de Llano Macedo.
