The ''Western Mail'' is a daily newspaper published by Media Wales Ltd in Cardiff, Wales owned by the UK's largest newspaper company, Reach plc. David Bruce Cole (August 29, 1930 – October 26, 2011) was an American professional baseball pitcher, who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for six seasons, between 1950 and 1955. Born in Williamsport, Maryland and attended Williamsport High School, Cole was known as one of the "wildest" pitchers with a career BB/9 of 7.556 Cole achieved the notable feat of recording three outs without throwing a single strike while pitching for the Boston Braves in 1952 in a game against the Philadelphia Phillies. Cole spent four years with the Braves, following the team from Boston to Milwaukee before spending a season with the Chicago Cubs. Sir David Lee Cole, KCMG, MC (31 August 1920 – 28 May 1997) was a British diplomat. He was British High Commissioner to Malawi from 1964 to 1967 and British Ambassador to Thailand from 1973 to 1978. Cole was born at Newmarket, Suffolk, the son of Brigadier D. H. Cole, CBE, LittD, and Charlotte Cole (''née'' Wedgwood). Cole was educated at Cheltenham College and Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, where he was an exhibitioner and took first-class honours in History. His university studies were interrupted after one year by the Second World War, in which he served with the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers from 1940 to 1945 in India, Iran, Madagascar, and Italy. David Byron Cole (June 3, 1962 – January 24, 1995) was an American songwriter and record producer. Cole was one half of the dance-music duo C+C Music Factory, which he founded with his musical partner Robert Clivillés. Robert Clivillés and David Cole also produced various hits for other artists such as Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam, Deborah Cooper, and many others. After Cole's death in 1995, Robert Clivillés continued to keep C+C Music Factory going through his own production work. Musical career Tennessee native Cole was a keyboardist at a church choir in 1984 when, already a regular guest there, in club Better Days he approached club owner Bruce Forest.
