David Cohen (31 December 1882, Deventer – 3 September 1967, Amsterdam) was a Dutch Classics, classicist and Papyrology, papyrologist and one of the two chairs of the (, or , of Amsterdam) during the occupation of the Netherlands in World War II. He was Professor of Ancient History at the University of Amsterdam and a prominent Zionism, Zionist leader. Education and career until 1940 Cohen was educated at Leiden University. He was a teacher in The Hague and became a private lecturer at the Leiden University, University of Leiden. In 1924 he became a professor by special appointment at the same university. David Cohen is an American art critic, art historian, curator and publisher. He is the editor of artcritical.com, which he founded in 2001. Cohen is also the organizer and moderator of The Review Panel, an ongoing public discussion forum which he launched in 2004, and has been hosted by the National Academy Museum and School and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. He teaches at Pratt Institute, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, the Fashion Institute of Technology and other institutions. David Cohen (August 1, 1946 – May 14, 2021) was a Canadian immigration lawyer, based in Montreal, Quebec. He was the senior partner at the Cohen Immigration Law firm, and he testified on immigration to the Senate of Canada and Parliament of Canada. He was recognised for his use of the internet to help immigrants move to, and settle in, Canada. He died on May 14, 2021. Education Cohen graduated in 1972 from the McGill University Faculty of Law with a Bachelor of Civil Law degree. Career Cohen began practicing Canadian immigration law after being called to the Bar of Quebec in 1975, and was a member of the Law Society of Ontario. David Cohen (December 11, 1917 – April 10, 2020) was a soldier in the United States Army and a schoolteacher. In World War II, Cohen was a liberator of the Ohrdruf concentration camp in Nazi Germany as a member of the 4th Armored Division as a radio operator. Early life Cohen was born in Brooklyn, New York, and was Jewish. His parents Samuel Cohen and Eva (Blackman) Cohen were Jewish immigrants from Latvia. World War II Cohen fought in World War II in France, Belgium, and Nazi Germany as a soldier of the 4th Armored Division, for whom he was a radio operator. He then entered the Ohrdruf concentration camp outside Gotha, Germany, in April 1945, as one of its liberators. David Cohen is a cellist from Belgium who made his solo debut with the Belgium National Orchestra when he was 9. Cohen was born in Tournai, Belgium and studied at the Yehudi Menuhin School and then at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama where he studied under Oleg Kogan. David Bennett Cohen (born August 4, 1942) is an American musician best known as the original keyboardist and one of the guitar players for the late-1960s psychedelic rock and blues band Country Joe and the Fish. David Marc Cohen (born October 6, 1966) is an American football coach. He is the defensive line coach at Wake Forest University. Cohen came to Wake after stint as the defensive coordinator at Rutgers University in 2013. He was formerly the defensive coordinator for the Western Michigan Broncos football team and the final head coach of Hofstra University's football program. David X ( ka, დავით X) (1482–1526) was a king of the Georgian kingdom of Kartli from 1505 to 1525. Life David was the eldest son of Constantine II, whom he succeeded as king of Kartli in 1505. Although Constantine had recognised the independence of the breakaway Georgian kingdoms of Imereti and Kakheti, the rivalry among these polities continued under David.
