David Castedo
David Castedo Escudero (born 26 January 1974), sometimes known as just David, is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a left back. He was known for his tenacity. He appeared in 255 La Liga games over ten seasons, mostly for Sevilla which he helped win four major titles, including two UEFA Cups. Club career A product of RCD Mallorca's youth academy, Castedo was born in Palma, Majorca, and first played with the first team while they were in the second division. In the 1996–97 season, he appeared in 33 league matches as the local powerhouse returned to La Liga. Francisco Javier "Javi" Vicente Navarro (born 6 February 1974) is a Spanish retired professional footballer. During his career, the central defender represented mainly Valencia and Sevilla, achieving great success with the latter club – five major titles, including two UEFA Cups. The 2007–08 La Liga season, the 77th since its establishment, started on 25 August 2007 and finished on 18 May 2008. Real Madrid defended their La Liga title successfully after a 2–1 victory over Osasuna. The 2006–07 UEFA Cup was the 36th UEFA Cup, Europe's second-tier club football tournament. Ivica Dragutinović (Serbian Cyrillic: Ивица Драгутиновић, ; born 13 November 1975) is a Serbian former professional footballer. Mainly a central defender, he could also operate as a defensive left back. Antonio José Puerta Pérez (; 26 November 1984 – 28 August 2007) was a Spanish professional footballer who played solely for Sevilla. The 2006 UEFA Cup Final was a football match that took place at Philips Stadion in Eindhoven, Netherlands on 10 May 2006 as the culmination of the 2005–06 UEFA Cup. 2005–06 UEFA Cup
The 2005–06 UEFA Cup, the 35th edition of the UEFA Cup, was won by Sevilla, beating Middlesbrough in the final. It was the first victory for Sevilla in a European competition, and the first appearance by Middlesbrough in a European final. The final took place at Philips Stadion, in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The match was refereed by Herbert Fandel. Middlesbrough sealed their place in the final on the back of two dramatic comebacks. In the quarter finals they beat FC Basel of Switzerland 4–3 on aggregate (after losing the first leg 2–0 and being 1–0 down in the second leg, they scored 4 goals), this put them into the semi–final to face Steaua București.
