David Bonneville
David Bonneville (Porto, 1978) is a Portuguese film director and screenwriter of French and English descent. Education and background Bonneville received the University of Westminster academic Excellence scholarship for his MA in Screenwriting & Producing. He holds a Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin Directing Diploma in the context of the Gulbenkian Foundation Arts Programme. David has also completed a BA (Hons) Sound & Image (first class degree), having studied at the Catholic University of Portugal and the Pompeu Fabra University. David speaks six languages: Portuguese, Spanish, and English fluently, also French, elementary Italian and Catalan. David has been a mentor and lecturer at the Masaryk University, The Actors Centre, University of Westminster and several other national and international structures. RTP2 (''RTP dois'') is a Portuguese free-to-air television channel owned and operated by state-owned public broadcaster Rádio e Televisão de Portugal (RTP). It is the company's second television channel, and is known for broadcasting cultural, factual and children's programming without interruptions, including documentaries, concerts, theatre and independent, European and classic cinema. The Berlin International Film Festival (german: Internationale Filmfestspiele Berlin), usually called the Berlinale (), is a major international film festival held annually in Berlin, Germany. The Slamdance Film Festival is an annual film festival focused on emerging artists. The annual week-long festival takes place in Park City, Utah, in late January and is the main event organized by the year-round Slamdance organization, which also hosts a screenplay competition, workshops, screenings throughout the year and events with an emphasis on independent films with budgets under US$1 million.
