David Beach (historian)
David Norman Beach (28 June 1943 – 15 February 1999) was a Zimbabwean historian. He worked at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the University of Zimbabwe and pioneered the documentation of oral traditions in Zimbabwe. In his work on Great Zimbabwe Great Zimbabwe is a medieval city in the south-eastern hills of Zimbabwe near Lake Mutirikwi and the town of Masvingo. It is thought to have been the capital of a great kingdom during the country's Late Iron Age about which little is known. David Nelson Beach
David Nelson Beach (November 30, 1848 – October 18, 1926) was an American theologian, born at South Orange, N. J., and a brother of Harlan Page Beach. David Beach graduated from Yale College in 1872 and from the Yale Divinity School in 1876. In the same year he was ordained a Congregational minister and became pastor at Westerly, R. I. He subsequently served in pastorates at Wakefield, Mass., Cambridge, Mass., Minneapolis, and Denver. From 1903–1921, he was President and Professor of Sacred Rhetoric at Bangor Theological Seminary in Bangor, Maine. He took a prominent part in civic and social movements and during his residence at Cambridge was prominent in ridding that city of saloons. He advocated the adoption of a modified Norwegian liquor system in Massachusetts, and became known as an enthusiastic worker for church unity and a better theology. David Beach (judge)
David Beach is an Australian jurist who is a justice of the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Victoria. Beach was appointed to the Trial Division of the court in 2008 and to the Court of Appeal in 2013 by Attorney-General, Robert Clark. Justice Beach was admitted to practice in 1983 and admitted as a barrister in 1984. He formerly worked as a solicitor for Galbally and O'Bryan, then a barrister. Justice Beach has made contributions to the Counsel Committee, Professional Indemnity Insurance Committee and Common Law Bar Association Committee.
