Dave Washington, Jr. (September 12, 1948 – October 11, 2021) was an American football linebacker who played for five teams in an eleven-year career that lasted from 1970 to 1980 in the National Football League. Washington played college football at Alcorn State University and was drafted in the ninth round of the 1970 NFL Draft The 1970 National Football League Draft was the 35th National Football League Draft and the first of the league's modern era, following the merger of the National Football League with the American Football League. Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Tuscaloosa ( ) is a city in and the seat of Tuscaloosa County in west-central Alabama, United States, on the Black Warrior River where the Gulf Coastal and Piedmont plains meet. The National Football League All-Star Game (1939–1942), Pro Bowl (1951–2022), or Pro Bowl Games (starting in 2023) is an annual event held by the National Football League (NFL) featuring the league's star players.
