Dave Nath
David Nath is a British producer and director, best known for his work on television documentaries. Career Nath directed the BBC4 documentary series ''The Year the Town Hall Shrank'' (2013), which followed the effects of the economic downturn in Stoke-on-Trent. He was series director of the Channel 4 series ''Bedlam'' (2013), which followed patients with mental health problems at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. He directed the Channel 4 series ''The Murder Detectives'' (2015), about the investigation into the stabbing of Bristol teenager Nicholas Robinson. British Academy Television Awards
The BAFTA TV Awards, or British Academy Television Awards are presented in an annual award show hosted by the BAFTA. They have been awarded annually since 1955. Background The first-ever Awards, given in 1955, consisted of six categories. Until 1958, they were awarded by the Guild of Television Producers and Directors. From 1958 onwards, after the Guild had merged with the British Film Academy, the organisation was known as the Society of Film and Television Arts. Grierson Awards
The Grierson Awards are awards set up by The Grierson Trust to recognise innovative and exciting documentary films, created to commemorate the life and work of the pioneering Scottish documentary filmmaker John Grierson. Bedlam was a British mental health documentary filmed at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM). The series offers unprecedented access to clinical services, patients and staff at the Trust. Overview The first episode of the four-part series Bedlam was broadcast on Thursday, 31 October 2013 at 9 pm on Channel 4. The first programme, Anxiety, follow patients through the 18-bed Anxiety Disorders Residential Unit at Bethlem Royal Hospital. This national unit treats the most anxious people in the country - the top one per cent - and claims a success rate of three in four patients. Some are consumed by irrational fears they've caused a road accident in their sleep, harmed strangers or have intrusive thoughts. South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, also known as SLaM, is an NHS foundation trust based in London, England, which specialises in mental health.
