David Scott-Morgan (born David Raymond Morgan, 19 August 1942) is an English songwriter and musician. Career Morgan was a member of The Uglys with Steve Gibbons between 1967 and 1969, where he was the bassist and vocalist. Morgan was part of the spin-off Balls with Gibbons and Trevor Burton, until he was replaced by Denny Laine. Morgan was subsequently bassist and vocalist with Magnum, departing before their debut album, and was guitarist with E.L.O. from 1981 to 1986. He is credited with performing background vocals on the 1983 E.L.O. album ''Secret Messages''. Morgan formed the Tandy-Morgan Band with E.L.O keyboardist Richard Tandy in 1985. Together they recorded the concept album ''Earthrise''. The album contained 14 tracks, all written by Morgan, with Tandy's keyboard arrangements. ''Earthrise'' was produced with Steve Lipson, and eventually released on vinyl in 1986 on the FM Revolver label. In 1992, Morgan released the album on CD. In 2011 a revised and updated v ...

Dave Morgan (racing Driver)
David Rowland John Morgan (7 August 1944 in Cranmore, Somerset – 6 November 2018 in Leatherhead, Surrey) was a British racing driver from England. He participated in one Formula One World Championship Grand Prix, the 1975 British Grand Prix in which, like several others, he crashed during a storm in the closing laps. He was classified 18th and thus scored no championship points. Driving career Prior to his single grand prix entry, Morgan raced a Mini in the mid-1960s, and soon moved on to Formula Three. He incurred a 12-month ban for dangerous driving at the end of 1970, after a last corner collision with James Hunt at Crystal Palace, but was subsequently allowed to progress to Formula Atlantic in 1971. This was followed by two seasons in Formula Two, then a return to Formula Atlantic. Dave Morgan (weightlifter)
David Morgan (born 30 September 1964) is a Welsh weightlifter. Morgan won the British under-16 championship in 1979. He became the youngest ever Commonwealth Games weightlifting champion in 1982 at Brisbane, at 17 years of age. Competing in the lightweight class (67.5 kg), he achieved 132.5 kg in the snatch and 162.5 kg in the clean and jerk to defeat former champion Basil (Bill) Stellios of Australia. Morgan is the only competitor to win medals in six different Commonwealth Games, with victories in 1982, 1986, 1990, 1994, 1998, and 2002. He won two gold and one silver medals in 2002 at Manchester (with 145 kg in the snatch and 160 in the clean and jerk), bringing his career medal total to twelve (nine gold, three silver). Morgan recorded his best attempt in the snatch at the 1984 Junior World Championships, with a lift of 150 kg which gave him the gold in the snatch in the 75 kg class.
