Dave Gettleman
David Alan Gettleman (born February 21, 1951) is a former American football executive in the National Football League (NFL) who was the senior vice president and General manager (American football), general manager for the New York Giants from 2018 to 2021 and the Carolina Panthers from 2013 to 2017. Early life and education Gettleman grew up in the Mattapan neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. He attended Boston Latin School, where he played varsity football. He then attended Springfield College, where he earned a degree in education and played offensive tackle on the freshman football team. Spackenkill High School is a 9-12 public high school part of the Spackenkill Union Free School District located in Poughkeepsie, New York, United States. After playing soccer for Milton High School a coach suggested he try out for the football team as a kicker.
