Dave Cropper
Dave Cropper (26 December 1945 – 3 December 2016) was a British middle-distance running, middle-distance runner. He competed in the 800 metres at the 1968 Summer Olympics and the 1972 Summer Olympics. Early life He was born in Birmingham. He attended the Queen Elizabeth's Academy, Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in Mansfield. He grew up in Mansfield Woodhouse. Personal life He married Pat Lowe-Cropper, Pat Cropper in December 1971 they had one child and lived in Solihull. Middle-distance running events are Track and field#Running, track races longer than Sprint (running), sprints, up to 3000 metres. The standard middle distances are the 800 metres, 1500 metres and mile run, although the 3000 metres may also be classified as a middle-distance event.
