''Dave'' is a 1993 American political comedy film directed by Ivan Reitman, written by Gary Ross, and starring Kevin Kline and Sigourney Weaver. Frank Langella, Kevin Dunn, Laura Linney, Ving Rhames, Charles Grodin, and Ben Kingsley appear in supporting roles. Plot Dave Kovic runs a Temporary work, temporary employment agency in Georgetown (Washington, D.C.), Georgetown, Washington, D.C. and impersonates President of the United States, President Bill Mitchell as a side job. Dave (company)
Dave (also known as Dave.com) is a digital banking service that works off of tips and subscription fees rather than overdraft fees. Services Dave is most well known for offering customers a free cash advance as opposed to expensive overdraft fees found at legacy banks. The company does not charge interest, or origination or similar fees, instead charging for expedited service, and a monthly fee to use the service, and giving the option to "tip" the company. Lauren Saunders, of the National Consumer Law Center, expressed concern that some users may feel compelled to tip resulting in it being not too different from paying interest. Dave has also launched a banking service, Dave Banking. It was released in 2019. It is available through a partnership with Evolve Bank & Trust. Missing Andy is a British mod-influenced band based in Essex. The group comprises Alex Greaves, Jonathan Sharpe, Rob Jones, Steve Rolls, and Elliot Richardson. The band's debut single "The Way We're Made (Made In England)" reached number 38 on the UK Singles Chart and number 7 on the UK Indie Chart in September 2010, after their status was confirmed as runners-up in Sky1's television talent competition, ''Must Be The Music''.
