David Berry (landowner)
David Berry (December 1795 – 23 September 1889) was Scottish born horse and cattle breeder, landowner and benefactor in colonial New South Wales. Berry was the eighth of nine children born to James Berrie (died 1827) and his wife Isabel Tod (died 1830) and was baptised 29 December 1795. Alexander Berry was his eldest brother. Berry was born at Cupar, Fife, Scotland, and was educated at the University of St Andrews. He arrived in New South Wales on board the ''Midlothian'' in July 1836, and proceeded to the estate of his elder brother, Dr. Alexander Berry, at Coolangatta Estate, which he managed in conjunction with another brother, John, for eleven years, and after the latter's death carried on the concern alone until 1873, when Dr. Alexander Berry died and devised the whole of his property to his brother David, who followed the system of cultivating and fencing a large portion of his land whilst the remainder was leased out in farms of varying size on peculiar and unusually p ...

David Berry is an Australian-Canadian actor known for his role as James Bligh in the television series '' A Place To Call Home'' and Lord John Grey in the Starz television series '' Outlander''. Early life Berry was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, but moved to Sydney, Australia, at the age of 7. One of four children, he is talented in both singing and the violin. As a child, he attended school on a scholarship for voice, splitting his time between school and professional performances that included work at Opera Australia and numerous festivals. In 2002, he received a scholarship to study political science at Montreal's McGill University. Upon his return, he applied and was accepted to the Australian National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), from which he graduated in 2010. David Berry Knapp, also known as Krishna Deva (born 1948), is an American former businessman and disciple of Rajneesh who was the mayor of Rajneeshpuram from August 11, 1982 to September 15, 1985. Early life and education Knapp was raised in Chicago and Highland Park, Illinois. After graduating from Highland Park High School, he earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California. Knapp began a Master of Science degree program in counseling psychology at USC and completed it at Lone Mountain College. Dr David Berry Hart FRSE FRCPE (12 October 1851 – 10 June 1920) was a Scottish gynaecological surgeon and academic. Life David Berry Hart was born in Edinburgh on 12 October 1851. He graduated M.B., C.M. from the University of Edinburgh in 1877. Specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology, he continued his studies and obtained his doctorate MD in 1880, with a gold medal and the Syme Surgical Fellowship on "''The Structural Anatomy of the female pelvic floor''". He was Secretary of the Edinburgh Obstetrical Society between 1879 and 1883 and became President in 1890. He was also Librarian to the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. In 1888 he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh. His proposers were Andrew Douglas Maclagan, Sir Alexander Russell Simpson, Sir William Turner, and Sir German Sims Woodhead. David de Berry (1952–1995) was a U.S. composer of theater music as well as an actor and music director. De Berry is best known for the score of a 1987 adaptation of Charles Dickens's ''A Christmas Carol,'' on which he collaborated with playwright Richard Hellesen and director Dennis Bigelow. Originally commissioned for the Sacramento Theatre Company, the work has been widely seen, with perennial productions in Rochester, New York, Denver, Colorado, Dallas, Texas, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Phoenix, Arizona, among other communities. The resident composer and musical director of the Sacramento Theatre Company, de Berry wrote original music for many productions there and at other companies, including the Portland Center Stage in Portland, Oregon and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, Oregon. The event was broadcast live on pay-per-view in the United States, and later released on home video. David J. Berry (May 1870 – November 10, 1928) was an American football manager during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He was the top promoter for the sport during that time period. He is credited with inventing the "all-star game concept" in 1898, and also helped to form one of the first organized football leagues in 1902. Latrobe He was the manager of the Latrobe Athletic Association the first ever fully professional football team to play an entire season. He was also signed John Brallier to the Latrobe football team in 1895, for $10 a game plus expenses, making him the first-ever openly professional football player. He previously presented '' The Capital Breakfast Show'' from 2012 until 2017, alongside Lisa Snowdon, George Shelley and Lilah Parsons.
