Dasho Tshering Wangchuk

	Dasho Tshering Wangchuk Dasho Tshering Wangchuk is a Bhutanese jurist who served as the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Bhutan from 2014 to 2019. In 2018, Wanghuck served as the interim Head of Government of Bhutan, when serving as the Chief Advisor of the Interim Government, following the dissolution of the Bhutanese National Assembly in preparation of elections. Career Dasho Tshering Wangchuk has a master's degree in international law from George Washington University (LLM '03), and another degree in law from the University of Delhi. Wangchuk began his career as a judicial officer in 1987, serving as an apprentice to the judges of the High Court. From 1990 to 1995 he served as a Second Lieutenant in the Royal Bhutan Army. He served as a judicial officer in the High Court from 1993 to 1999. 	Dasho Dasho ( Dzongkha: དྲག་ཤོས; Wylie: ''Drag-shos'') (lit. Excellent One) is a Bhutanese honorific that is bestowed upon individuals, along with a red scarf kabney, by the Druk Gyalpo. In common practice, however, many senior government officials and social elites are incorrectly addressed as Dasho without officially receiving the title and the red scarf kabney. Although the title is bestowed upon both men and women, men are more likely to be incorrectly addressed as Dasho. Dasho is also used for princes of the royal house, its female equivalent being Ashi. 	Samdrup Jongkhar Samdrup Jongkhar ( Dzongkha:བསམ་གྲུབ་ལྗོངས་མཁར་) is a town and seat of Samdrup Jongkhar District in Bhutan. 	High Court Of Bhutan The High Court of Bhutan derives its authority from the 2008 Constitution of Bhutan. It consists of the Chief Justice and eight Drangpons (Associate Justices). The Chief Justice and Drangpons of the High Court are appointed from among juniors, peers, and eminent jurists by the Druk Gyalpo. 	Supreme Court Of Bhutan The Supreme Court of Bhutan is the Kingdom of Bhutan's highest court of review and interpreter of the Constitution. The Supreme Court consists of one Chief Justice and four Drangpons (Associate Justices). Its appellate jurisdiction is accompanied by a limited original jurisdiction on questions of such a nature and public importance that "it is expedient to obtain the opinion of the Supreme Court".
