Darryl Brohman
Darryl Gregory Brohman (born 22 June 1956), also known by the nickname of "The Big Marn", is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1970s and 1980s, and coached in the 1980s, now best known as a commentator and media personality. Brohman played professional league for the Penrith Panthers, Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and the Queensland rugby league team. At present, he is working for 2GB on its Continuous Call Team broadcasts, on '' The Footy Show'' and makes guest appearances on the Australian version of the ESPN show ''Pardon the Interruption''. In the summer, he plays a small role in the nationally syndicated radio program entitled Summer Weekend Detention which broadcasts from the Sydney studios of 2GB on weekends during the summer months. Wavell Heights is a suburb in the City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. In the , Wavell Heights had a population of 9,684 people. Geography Wavell Heights is located north of the Brisbane central business district. The land use is almost entirely residential, apart from Mercer Park and Shaw Park in the southernmost part of the suburb. The 1983 State of Origin series was the second time the annual three-game series between the New South Wales and Queensland rugby league teams was played entirely under "state of origin" selection rules. The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are an Australian professional rugby league football club based in Belmore, a suburb in the Canterbury-Bankstown region of Sydney. Darryl Duncan
Darryl Duncan is a former professional rugby league footballer. Duncan was a character of the Brisbane Rugby League (BRL) and was signed by Brisbane club Valleys in 1980 after playing much of his junior football in Mount Isa. He made his first grade debut for the Valleys Diehards against the Redcliffe Dolphins at Lang Park in 1980 as a teenager, but it wasn't until 1982 where he became a regular in the Diehards' first-grade line-up. That season, he was seen by Valleys coach Ross Strudwick as a better option at five-eighth than eventual rugby league immortal, Wally Lewis, who was forced to play much of the 1982 BRL season in his original position of lock-forward.
