Darrin Madison
Darrin Brian Madison Jr. (born 1996) is an American justice activist and politician. He is a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing Wisconsin's 10th Assembly district since January 2023. Biography Darrin Madison Jr. was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. At a young age, he was introduced to activism through the "Young Scientist" program at Milwaukee's Urban Ecology Center. At age 14, he participated in the mass protests against 2011 Wisconsin Act 10—the Budget Repair Bill which abolished collective bargaining rights for public employees. Later that year, he joined Urban Underground, a youth-led social justice organization in Milwaukee. Through his teenage years, he worked on social justice campaigns fighting for youth jobs, education, public safety, sexual health, and environmental justice. Wisconsin's 10th Assembly District
The 10th Assembly District of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Located in southeastern Wisconsin, the district is entirely contained within northeastern Milwaukee County. The district comprises several neighborhoods of the north side of the city of Milwaukee, including the Williamsburg Heights, Arlington Heights, and Grover Heights neighborhoods, as well as the neighboring village of Shorewood. The district is represented by Democrat Darrin Madison, since January 2023. Supreme Moore Omokunde
Supreme Moore Omokunde (born August 22, 1979) is an American politician and community organizer. He has also been known by the names Sowande Ajumoke Omokunde and Supreme Solar Allah. A Democrat, he is a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing Assembly District 17. He was also a member of the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors from 2015 through 2020. The Wisconsin State Assembly elections of 2022 were held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. All 99 seats in the Wisconsin State Assembly were up for election. This was the first election to take place after redistricting following the 2020 United States census. Wisconsin Elections Commission
The Wisconsin Elections Commission is a bipartisan regulatory agency of the State of Wisconsin established to administer and enforce election laws in the state. The Wisconsin Elections Commission was established by a 2015 act of the Wisconsin Legislature which also established the Wisconsin Ethics Commission to administer campaign finance, ethics, and lobbying laws. The two commissions began operation on June 30, 2016, replacing the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board (GAB), which was abolished. The Government Accountability Board had been established in 2008 to replace the Wisconsin Elections Board and Wisconsin Ethics Board. Glendale is a city in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, United States. It is a suburb of the neighboring Milwaukee. The population was 13,357 at the 2020 census.
