Darren Minchington
Darren Minchington is a former Australian rules football player who played with the St Kilda Football Club and Hawthorn Football Club in the Australian Football League. AFL career He made his debut on 9 August 2013 against Hawthorn in Round 20 of the 2013 AFL season. Originally from Dromana, Victoria, Minchington attended Padua College. He started his senior football career at St Kilda's VFL affiliate club Sandringham in 2012, but suffered a hip injury after playing nine games, ending his season. He kicked two goals in two games for the St Kilda Football Club. He was dropped after his second game against the Sydney Swans. Munchington has had a career ridden with injuries over seven season career at , he only played 28 games at AFL level. Dandenong Stingrays
The Dandenong Southern Stingrays are an Australian rules football team in the NAB League, the Victorian statewide under-18s competition. 1992 saw the birth of the Southern Stingrays, developed under the leadership of Steve Kennedy (Regional Manager) and Ron Roach (Promotions Manager) with its home base located at Ben Kavanagh Reserve, Mordialloc, Victoria, Mordialloc. The side is coached in the inaugural year by Peter Russo. In 1995 the club moved from Mordialloc to Dandenong, Victoria, Dandenong and it also changed its name to the Dandenong Southern Stingrays. The club is currently under the leadership of Darren Flanigan (Region Talent Manager) and Matthew Crozier (Female Talent Coordinator) with the home base located at Shepley Oval, Dandenong. The 2014 AFL season was the 118th season of the Australian Football League (AFL), the highest level senior Australian rules football competition in Australia, which was known as the Victorian Football League until 1989.
