Darren Bravo
Darren Michael Bravo (born 6 February 1989) is a Trinidadian Cricketer who plays international cricket for the West Indies. A left-handed batsman, his batting style has drawn comparisons with Brian Lara. Bravo is the younger half brother of fellow West Indies cricketer Dwayne Bravo and his mother is the first cousin of former cricketer Brian Lara. Career Bravo made his first team debut for Trinidad and Tobago in January 2007 and scored seven in a one-day match against Guyana. He made his first-class debut three days later against the Leeward Islands and scored eight. After another single figure score in his next match against the Windward Islands, he made no further appearances in the 2006/07 season. Santa Cruz is a town in Trinidad and Tobago. It extends across the Santa Cruz Valley, between Maraval and San Juan, along the Saddle Road. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The Nepal national under-19 cricket team represents Nepal in under-19 international cricket. It is governed by Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), which is an associate member of International Cricket Council (ICC). Fidel Edwards
Fidel Henderson Edwards (born 6 February 1982) is a Barbadian cricketer, who plays all formats of the game. A pace bowler, his round-arm action is "not unlike" that of former fast bowler Jeff Thomson. He was spotted in the nets by Brian Lara and was called up for his Test debut against Sri Lanka after just one match for Barbados. Despite a promising start to his Test career, he has been injury prone and inconsistent. With an average of just under 40 in Test cricket, he has struggled to fulfil his early potential. Pedro Collins
Pedro Tyrone Collins (born 12 August 1976) is a cricket coach and former cricketer who played as a fast bowler for the West Indies. Collins also featured for Barbados, Surrey and Middlesex in his cricketing career. International career As a left-handed seam bowler, Collins shot to fame after getting Sachin Tendulkar out three times and twice for a duck during the 2001-02 India vs West Indies Test series. He later took 6 for 53, on the 7 June 2004, at Sabina Park in the second test of a two match test series against Bangladesh. The 2007–08 KFC Cup was the 34th edition of the Regional Super50, the domestic limited-overs cricket competition for the countries of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB). The West Indies under-19 cricket team represents the countries of Cricket West Indies in international under-19 cricket. Batting Average (cricket)
In cricket, a player's batting average is the total number of runs they have scored divided by the number of times they have been out, usually given to two decimal places. Since the number of runs a player scores and how often they get out are primarily measures of their own playing ability, and largely independent of their teammates, batting average is a good metric for an individual player's skill as a batter (although the practice of drawing comparisons between players on this basis is not without criticism). The Windward Islands cricket team is a cricket team representing the member countries of the Windward Islands Cricket Board of Control. The team plays in the West Indies Professional Cricket League (including the NAGICO Regional Super50) under the franchise name Windward Islands Volcanoes. The Leeward Islands cricket team is a first class cricket team representing the member countries of the Leeward Islands Cricket Association, an associate of the West Indies Cricket Board. First-class Cricket
First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is one of three or more days' scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Matches must allow for the teams to play two innings each, although in practice a team might play only one innings or none at all.
