Hans Jørgen Darre
Hans Jørgen Darre (27 September 1803 – 11 March 1874) was a Norwegian clergyman and Bishop of Nidaros. Darre was born at Klæbu in Søndre Trondhjem, Norway. He was the son of the vicar in Klæbo and constitutional founding father, Jacob Hersleb Darre. He graduated as cand.theol. in 1827 and succeeded his father as vicar in Klæbu in 1833. He was the dean in the district of Dalerne from 1843 to 1848, and in March 1849 he took over as Bishop of the Diocese of Trondhjem (Nidaros). He retired in 1860 with a 1000 speciedaler pension. In 1872, he moved to a town near the Spanish-Portuguese border, where his daughter's husband worked in a mine. Hans Jørgen Darre died in Miraflores, Spain during 1874, his body brought back to Norway in December 1883. In Throndhjem, he was a member of the Royal Norwegian Society of Sciences and Letters. Jeanne-Marie Darré (30 July 190526 January 1999) was a French classical pianist. She was known for her lyrical and elegant''88 notes pour piano solo'', Jean-Pierre Thiollet, Neva Editions, 2015, p.91. interpretations of the solo works of Chopin and Liszt, and of the Saint-Saëns Concertos. She was awarded the Légion d'honneur and made a Chevalier des Arts et Lettres. Biography Darré was born in Givet, France, in 1905. She studied at the Paris Conservatoire with Isidor Philipp and Marguerite Long, and worked with Fauré, Saint-Saëns and Ravel among others. She made her debut at the age of 14 and her first recordings at 16. When she was 21, she played all five of the Saint-Saëns Piano Concertos in a single concert with the Concerts Lamoureux orchestra, conducted by Paul Paray. Niels Stockfleth Darre (18 February 1765 – 9 October 1809) was a Norwegian military officer. Darre was born in Fåberg as the son of Major General Michael Darre (1728–1804) and his wife Anna Christine Pram. He married Ellen Aschim. Niels Stockfleth Darre was hired in the military cadastre authority in 1787, and eventually advanced to leader. Niels Stockfleth Darre Eckhoff (5 January 1831 – 26 September 1914) was a Norway, Norwegian architect. He was born in Trondheim, Throndhjem as the son of Christian Martin Eckhoff and his wife Nicoline Johanne Luytkis. He married Nicoline Otilie Eckhoff in July 1869; the couple had several children. He was a granduncle of jurist Ernst Fredrik Eckhoff, actor Johannes Eckhoff, legal academic Torstein Eckhoff and designer Tias Eckhoff. He attended the Royal Drawing School, now the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry, in Oslo. Hans Jørgen Darre-Jenssen (22 June 1864 – 26 June 1950) was a Norwegian engineer and politician for the Free-minded Liberal Party. Worm Hirsch Darre-Jenssen (7 December 1870 – 30 April 1945) was a Norwegian engineer and politician for the Conservative Party. He served two terms in the Parliament of Norway, and as Minister of Labour from 1926 to 1928. Career Worm Darre-Jenssen took education in machinery and construction in 1889 and 1890, at the technical school in Trondhjem. From 1890 to 1894 he worked as an assistant in railway construction. From 1894 to 1895 he studied at the Technische Hochschule Hannover. He then worked until 1900 with road administration in Kristians Amt. In 1901 he returned to Trondhjem to supervise the construction of an electricity plant. From 1902 he worked in the city engineer department, from 1913 as chief engineer.
