Darlinghurst (band)
Darlinghurst are an Australian country music duo (formerly group), formed in 2017 by Jason Resch, Pagan Newman, Cassie Leopold and Matt Darvidis. The group's debut self-titled studio album was released on 24 September 2021 and debuted at No. 1 on the ARIA Country album chart and No. 9 on the all music genre album ARIA chart. The group's first six singles peaked within the top 5 of the Australian Country Radio chart. On 30 November 2023, Darlinghurst the group became a female duo with Resch and Darvidis leaving the group. History In the late 2000s, Jason Resch lived in the United Kingdom, working as songwriter where he co-write " The Promise" for Girls Aloud, "The Boy Does Nothing" for Alesha Dixon and " All Fired Up" for The Saturdays as well as songs with Kylie Minogue and the Pet Shop Boys. The Tamworth Country Music Festival is an annual Australian music festival held for 10 days from Friday to Sunday in mid to late January each year, sometimes including Australia Day, in Tamworth, New South Wales. The festival is the second biggest country music festival in the world, after the CMA Music Festival in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. MGM Records was a record label founded by the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film studio in 1946 for the purpose of releasing soundtrack recordings (later LP albums) of their musical films. It transitioned into a pop music label that continued into the 1970s.
