Dark X-Men
The Dark X-Men are a fictional team appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. They made their debut during the crossover between ''Dark Avengers'' and ''Uncanny X-Men'' written by Matt Fraction, as part of the broader Dark Reign storyline. Each member but Namor has been handpicked by then–H.A.M.M.E.R. director Norman Osborn for his own criminal agenda. In-universe, the team was never officially called the "Dark X-Men" (which was the name of the comics series, not the team). Instead, they were simply called the "X-Men" and were a government-sponsored team trying to take advantage of the name recognition of Charles Xavier's X-Men, to which they had no official connection (much like Osborn's Avengers team was pretending to be the real Avengers). Nick Lowe (comics)
Nicholas Albert Lowe (born October 7, 1979) is the vice president of content and executive editor at Marvel Comics. He was formerly senior editor of the ''X-Men'' titles. He was responsible for the ''Nextwave'' title, along with ''The Eternals'' by Neil Gaiman. Early life Lowe grew up on the west side of Cleveland. During high school, he attended the prestigious St. Ignatius High School. While there he participated in school plays and musicals. Daniel Ketchum
Daniel Ketchum (born October 7, 1981) is an American former swimmer and Olympic gold medalist. At the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece, Ketchum earned a gold medal by swimming for the winning U.S. team in the men's 4×200-meter freestyle relay. Ketchum spent two years in Ireland from 1994 to 1996, where he was educated at Villiers School. He swam for the Cincinnati Marlins swim club as an age group swimmer, and later for Sycamore High School in Cincinnati. While swimming for Sycamore High, he won six individual Ohio state swimming championships in 1998, 1999 and 2000—three each in the 200-yard and 500-yard freestyle events. He then attended the University of Michigan, where he swam for the Michigan Wolverines swimming and diving team in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) competition. John Rauch (comics)
John Rauch (August 20, 1927 – June 10, 2008), also known by his nickname "Johnny Rauch", was an American football player and coach. He was head coach of the Oakland Raiders in the team's loss to the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl II in early 1968. Early life Rauch's football playing career almost ended before it began. At the age of 14, he was diagnosed with a heart murmur and instructed to give up the sport. Ignoring the dire warnings, Rauch was a three-sport star at Yeadon High School, then put together an outstanding college football career. Earning the starting quarterback slot for the University of Georgia as a true freshman in 1945, he led the Bulldogs to a 36–8–1 record. Andy Lanning is an English comic book writer and inker, known for his work for Marvel Comics and DC Comics, and for his collaboration with Dan Abnett.
