''Dark Streets'' is an investigative, horror role-playing game written by Peter Cakebread and Ken Walton and published by Cakebread & Walton. Overview Much of the game usually focuses on investigation and deduction but combat can and does play a big part in it. The game requires the use of the Renaissance Deluxe rulebook. Peter Cakebread is a game designer who has worked primarily on role-playing games. Career Peter Cakebread formed the game company Cakebread & Walton with Ken Walton. The Renaissance ( , ) , from , with the same meanings. is a period in European history marking the transition from the Middle Ages to modernity and covering the 15th and 16th centuries, characterized by an effort to revive and surpass ideas and achievements of classical antiquity.
