''Dark Angel'' is the second studio album by South Korean singer Lee Hyori. It was released on February 11, 2006. The album features singles "Get Ya!", "Shall We Dance?", and "Straight Up". It is notable for the plagiarism controversy regarding her first single, "Get Ya!", which was accused of copying Britney Spears's single "Do Somethin'" (2005). Plagiarism accusations The first single from her album, "Get Ya!" was accused of plagiarizing Britney Spears's "Do Somethin'," as proposed by the composer of the American pop star's hit. Lee Hyo-ri (; born May 10, 1979) is a South Korean singer, record producer, activist, actress and television presenter. Dubbed as the "Nation's Fairy" during her ''Family Outing'' days, she debuted as a member of South Korean girl group Fin.K.L, but has since become a solo artist. ''Stylish...E'' is the debut studio album by South Korean singer Lee Hyori. It marked her first solo musical project since becoming a member of girl group Fin.K.L in 1998. The album sold well in South Korea, winning several awards and catapulting Lee to superstar status; papers even dubbed her popularity the "Hyori Syndrome". The album was released by DSP Media on August 13, 2003, and was distributed by CJ E&M Music. By 2004, the album had sold over 150,000 copies. Background information The first lead track was " 10 Minutes", composed by Kim Do-hyun, who also composed "That's Right" from Shinhwa's 11th album '' The Classic'' in 2013. The album contains 13 tracks, including the singles "U-Go-Girl" and "Hey Mr. Big". "Do Somethin" is a song by American singer Britney Spears from her first greatest hits album, '' Greatest Hits: My Prerogative'' (2004). It was written and produced by Christian Karlsson and Pontus Winnberg (known collectively as Bloodshy & Avant), with additional writing by Henrik Jonback and Angela Hunte.
