Darius Theus
Darius Theus (born January 12, 1990) is an American former basketball player. He played collegiately for VCU Rams men's basketball, VCU. He played professionally in the Netherlands and Germany. Professional career In 2013, Theus signed his first pro contract with Aris Leeuwarden, a team in the Dutch Basketball League. He led the DBL in scoring, steals and field goal percentage in the 2013–14 season. Theus got a place in the DBL All-Defense Team, All-Defense Team of the DBL as well and was also named DBL Statistical Player of the Year. Aris went into the Playoffs as the 7-seed and lost 2–0 to SPM Shoeters Den Bosch. Coaching career He started as Director of Player Development with the Texas Longhorns men's basketball, Texas Longhorns on April 20, 2017. He held the position for the 2017–18 season. VCU Rams Men's Basketball
The VCU Rams men's basketball team is the intercollegiate men's basketball team that represents Virginia Commonwealth University. The Rams joined the Atlantic 10 Conference in the 2012–13 season after previously competing in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA). In 2017, VCU was ranked the 40th most valuable men's basketball program in the country by ''The Wall Street Journal''. With a valuation of $56.9 million, VCU ranked second in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and second in the A-10 Conference. The team is coached by Mike Rhoades. Since 1999, the team has played home basketball games at the E.J. Wade Arena at the Stuart C. Siegel Center in Richmond, Virginia on the university's Monroe Park campus.
