Dario Antonio Úsuga
Dario Antonio Úsuga David (born September 15, 1971) is a Colombian drug lord. Úsuga is the leader of the drug trafficking group the Gulf Clan (Spanish: Los Urabeños), and is known by his nickname Otoniel. He is accused of sending dozens of shipments of cocaine to the United States, killing police officers, recruiting minors, and sexually abusing children, among other crimes. After being sought by Colombian authorities for a decade, he was captured and arrested in October 2021, and extradited to the United States in May 2022. At the time of his capture, 132 warrants for his arrest had been issued. He pled guilty in New York to charges related to his time as Gulf Clan leader and is currently serving a 45-year sentence. He also faces coordinated charges in Florida. Necoclí
Necoclí is a town and municipality in Antioquia Department, Colombia. It is on the eastern shore of the Gulf of Urabá. Its population is predominantly Afro-Colombian, Black descendants of former slaves. It was founded as a Spanish city called San Sebastián de Buena Vista. One of Colombia's oldest towns, it was founded in 1509 by Pedro de Heredia, who died in 1555. Some early reports of the town can be found in chapter 9 of Pedro Cieza de León's ''Crónica del Perú'' (1553). Necoclí Airport is a general aviation airport, without scheduled flights. Buses link the town with Cartagena, the department capital of Medellín, and other points. He was captured on 15 April 2009 while hiding in a jungle. Rendón Herrera once led the Los Gaitanistas drug trafficking paramilitary gang, formerly known as ''Auto-defensas Gaitanistas'' ( Gaitanist Self-Defence Group), and founding member of the "Los Urabeños" criminal gang.
