''Darinda'' is a 2003 Pakistani Urdu action film directed by Iqbal Kashmiri starring Saima Noor, Saima, Resham and Shaan (actor), Shaan. Overview Saima Noor, Saima, Shaan (actor), Shaan, Momy Rana and Babar Ali play the lead in this action thriller. In Darinda, Shaan (actor), Shaan, as usual, is the chief protagonist, while Saima Noor, Saima makes people swoon. Having Momy and Shaan come together in any film seems to be the best formula. Most movies with them together, have done well at the box office. On top of it, you have Babar Ali also in confrontation with the other two. Babar is no less of a bankable name than the other too. It seems that this formula will soon fizzle out, considering the sort of rat race that is going on in this context. Syed Noor (Punjabi language, Punjabi, ur, ) (born Syed Ghulam Mohyuddin Noor) is a Pakistani film director based in Lahore. In 1970 Syed Noor joined the Pakistani film industry as an assistant to director S. Suleman. Noor assisted S. Suleman for 18 feature films, after which, he penned his first script for the film, "Society Girl" in 1976, which was considered the best film of the year. After the success of his first film, Noor became the prime screenwriting talent in the Pakistani film industry and worked with all the prominent directors of the time.
